Govt describes socio-economic performance in Pakistan Economic Survey 2024-25

Islamabad: Federal Minister of Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb unveils Pakistan Economic Survey 2024-25, describing the socio-economic performance of the government, including achievements and shortcomings.
The survey is important before the annual federal budget – which should be filed tomorrow (Tuesday) offering detailed information on the country’s socio -economic performance in the exercise that emerges with statistics related to GDP growth, tax revenue, the position of various industries and other significant tax and economic indicators.
These include inflation, trade and balance of payments, public debt, population growth, level of employment and impacts on climate change.
