Huawei announces a new IA infrastructure while Nvidia is locked in China

The Huawei technology giant has unveiled a new IA infrastructure intended to stimulate calculation power and allow the company to better compete with the manufacturer of Rival Nvidia flea.

During a speech at his conference Huawei Connect Thursday, Shenzhen, Huawei, based in China, announced a new SuperPod interconnection technology which can link to 15,000 graphics cards, including the Huawei Ascend IA chips, to increase the computing power.

This technology seems to be a competitor of Nvidia’s Nvilk infrastructure, which facilitates high -speed communication between AI fleas.

A technology like this is essential for Huawei to better compete with semiconductors like that of Nvidia. Although Huawei’s AI chips are less powerful than those of Nvidia, being able to group them together will give its users access to more calculation power, which is necessary for the formation and scaling of AI systems.

This news also intervenes a day after China has prohibited interior technology companies from buying NVIDIA equipment, including RTX Pro 600D servers from NVIDIA specially designed for the market in China.

Techcrunch contacted Huawei for more information.
