Galactic Racer is a poracing game planned for 2026

Why have one Star Wars game announcement at one Game Awards when you can have two? Star Wars: Galactic Runner is a poracing (and speeder racing) game from Fuse Games, a studio created in 2023 by former developers of Burnout and Need for Speed. It should arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2026.

The action here takes place after the fall of the Empire. While the galaxy is in rebuilding mode after dealing with all this mayhem, an unauthorized underground race track called the Galactic League springs up in the Outer Rim. Here, according to the game’s Steam page, “financial chaos unions and champions are forged.”

Star Wars: Galactic Runner is execution based, so if your podracer explodes, it could be game over. The action takes place on well-known Star Wars planets, plus a few new ones. Races have branching routes and you will unlock new abilities with each race.

There is a story-driven single-player campaign, as well as PvP modes. The vehicles are also customizable. Dig it. Where can I register, Watto?
