The Orange Bowl 2025, the world’s largest tournament for promising juniors, concluded on Sunday, December 14, after a week of high-octane tennis. Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Coco Gauff, Bianca Andreescu, Dominic Thiem and Caroline Wozniacki are among the most illustrious names in tennis to have won the tournament as juniors.
The U-18 boys singles title was won by Dutchman Thijs Boogaard against local favorite Jack Kennedy. The latter was the heavy favorite to take the crown, but the former outsmarted him en route to a 6-3, 6-3 victory.

Boogaard’s battle with mononucleosis over the past few months made this victory even more satisfying for him. China’s Xinran Sun got the better of Russia’s Kristina Liutova in the U-18 women’s singles final, beating her 6-4, 6-1. After losing her last two matches against her opponent, the Chinese teenager played focused tennis to turn things around this time.
Yannik Alvarez of Puerto Rico and Ziga Sesko of Slovenia won the U-18 men’s doubles title with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Americans Tanishk Konduri and Marcel Latak. Competing in their first-ever pairs tournament, Serbia’s Anastasija Cvetkovic and India’s Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi reigned supreme in the U-18 women’s doubles category. The winning duo beat Jamaican Alyssa James and American Annika Penickova 7-5, 6-1 in the final.
The U-18 boys wheelchair singles final was an all-American affair. Charlie Cooper beat Tomas Majetic 6-2, 7-5 to win the title. The U-18 women’s wheelchair singles final went down to the wire. The Belgian Luna Gryp, seeded number one, finally got the better of the Japanese Seira Matsuoka, overtaking her 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (2).
Matias Reyniak and Priscilla Sirichantho win U-16 singles titles at Orange Bowl 2025


American Matias Reyniak made an impressive comeback to win the U-16 boys’ singles title against compatriot Daniel Malacek at the Orange Bowl 2025. He fought back from a set down to beat his rival 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the final.
American Priscilla Sirichantho left her mark in the U-16 women’s singles by winning the biggest title of her career. She made light work of fellow American Daniela del Mastro in the final, scoring a routine 6-4, 6-1 victory over her.
Olivia de los Reyes and Emery Combs continued the Americans’ dominance in the U-16 category, winning the women’s doubles trophy. American Sean Peng teamed up with Serbian Filip Djokic to win the U-16 men’s doubles title.
