The French National Meteorological Agency has placed Paris and 15 other departments on its highest meteorological alert for Tuesday with temperatures up to 41 degrees Celsius predicts as a recreational heat wave. Paris and the other 15 departments would go to the red alert level, a warning issued in August 2023, due to the severity of the temperatures, said Meteo France.
