France, Poland Pledge Mutual Defense in a new cooperation treaty


France and Poland signed a treaty on Friday with a clause engaging the two countries with mutual support in the event of an attack by an attacker. French president Emmanuel Macron insisted that the treaty added to the protections in place under the members of the EU and NATO of the countries while he appeared alongside his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk in Nancy, in France.
