Forest of Nottingham: Crystal Palace Case’s decision sends the side of Nuno Espirito Santo in the Europa League and stimulates transfer plans | Football news

There is no celebration on the city’s field, and no milestone on the court of arbitration for the sport decision which promotes the Nottingham forest on Crystal Palace.

Three new members of the board of directors were appointed to replace it. This, the forest was confident, would have avoided any risk of conflict of interest and satisfied UEFA.

Palace actually affirmed in their submissions in case that Forest had missed the deadline of UEFA and only put the shares of marinakis in a blind trust on April 30. The forest disputes this, and says that it is not relevant anyway, because it is not a legal battle between the forest and UEFA, it is a legal dispute between Palace and UEFA.

In this case, the Nuno Espirito Santo team missed qualification in the Champions League on the last day, with a home defeat by Chelsea, therefore the conflict of interest with Olympiacos in the same UEFA competition has never taken place. Marinakis again resumed its shares and the total control of Nottingham Forest.

And it is clear, after cases, that he will now sanction other transfer expenses. Tottenham won a total of around 120 million pounds Sterling by winning the Europa League last season (with additional additional wealth that will come from the Champions League of this season).

Some 35 million pounds sterling of this award, the rest came from additional match income and additional commercial funds. The money price alone is almost double in the Europa League in relation to what Forest could have accumulated in the UEFA conference league, and this fact encouraged Marinakis to loosen the handbag strings.

The League phase for the Europa League will be drawn in Monaco on August 29, with 36 competing teams – whose forest will be one, alongside clubs like Aston Villa, Roma, Bologna, Lyon, Porto and Real Betis.

Forest will now turn to that date with excitation and waiting, and a reinvigorated transfer kitty to strengthen the resources of Nuno Espirito Santo.
