Adam Sandler recently opened up about his journey to movie stardom in an upcoming Netflix episode. My next guest needs no introduction with David Letterman.
During the show, the actor, who is currently promoting his new film Jay Kellywill reflect on his professional journey, from stand-up comedy to Saturday evening live to films.
“I did this show in Boston, and my dad and my brother came to see it, and I ate it so hard in front of my dad, and I hated it,” Adam recalls speaking to David in a clip from his early years.
After leaving the stage, the Murder Mystery The actor mentioned that he “turns around and the emcee says – and I was 17 – he says, ‘Were you the class clown at school?’ And I say, “Yeah.” And he says, “Stay with it.” And off we go (loud cheers).”
In a separate interview with The Hollywood ReporterAdam replied to Merry Gilmore 2 film released earlier this year.
“We couldn’t be happier,” continued the 50 first dates actor.
Adam added: “It’s something I can’t describe. Just walking down the street, hearing people talking about it before it even came out, we were like, something fun is happening here.”
