Fedexcup Playoffs: Tommy Fleetwood leads Justin Rose by a shot before the last round of the St Jude championship | News Golf

Tommy Fleetwood holds an advance suddenly on his English compatriot Justin Rose before the final round of the Fedex St Jude championship in Memphis while he looks at his first title of PGA Tour.

Fleetwood carded a under 69 less on Saturday in a round which surprised a double bogey on the third per-fivor, to go to 14 under the tournament.

Alongside the double Bogey, Fleetwood added five birdies and two Bogeys.

Behind the first two, Scottie Scheffler, world n ° 1, hides Sunday after hiding a brilliant 65 to shoot the ranking just ahead of us, the open champion, JJ Spaun.

Fleetwood, who recorded a 63 of less than 63 on the first day when he sorted out his last four holes, made three successive gains from the second in the second round when he appreciated another large closing section with four consecutive slices of nine.

His third round was a matter more from top to bottom, but a clutch birdie on the 16th helped him regain control when he hunts an elusive victory in the PGA Tour.

Fleetwood has suffered from Miss on the PGA Tour lately, including the traveler’s championship where he has lost badly in front of Keegan Bradley in a magnificent final hole, but remains optimistic that his best golf course can pass it.

“I played well the last time. I came very closely. I led the tournament for so long and it did not happen, and I said then, there is an element for me, in a way, it took me a long time to save here, and I still did not do it, but the best possible scenario that the travelers were immediately, I can get back in this position earlier,” said Fleetwood.

“It’s just another opportunity for me to go out and try to have the best golf round that I can, enjoy this position.

“The more I put myself there, the more likely there is a chance to perform, and to go out and continue to learn from each experience.

“But tomorrow could be my day, it may not be the case, but being there is the most important thing, and I will continue to try to do it.”

Rose remains second at 13 sous after a lap which included six birdies and three Bogeys. He was released early during the day to finish his second round after the time of the bed had stopped playing early on Friday.
