Elon Musk X X for tens of thousands of users

The social media platform belonging to Elon Musk X experienced breakdowns on Saturday morning, with tens of thousands of users who could not have used the site.

About 25,000 users have reported problems with the platform around 8:45 a.m., depending on the Downdector analysis platform, which collects user data to monitor problems with various platforms.

About 21,000 users said problems just after 8:30 am, depending on the analysis platform.

X did not immediately respond to the request for CNBC comments. Additional information on the failure was not available.

Musk, the owner billionaire of SpaceX and TeslaAcquired X, formerly known as Twitter in 2022.

The site has had a number of breakdowns widespread since the acquisition.

The site experienced another breakdown in March, which Musk attributed at the time to a “massive cyber attack”.

“We are attacked every day, but it was done with a lot of resources,” Musk wrote in an article at the time.
