A source said Bollywood hungama“The second asset, which is a version of ‘Jogi’ alias ‘I will be released digitally on October 15. The idea is to increase enthusiasm and put the film back in the spotlight, but also to make it clear that it will indeed be released on December 5. There was speculation that the film might not release on time. The promo of the song will put an end to the rumors as it will clearly mention December 5 as the release date. And it will also increase the buzz because it will give a little more idea about the film.
Earlier, the source told Bollywood Hungama, “The first preview featured a version of the song ‘Jogi’. The next asset will feature another recreated version of the song. But it’s faster and the visuals are also cut on the same line. There are no dialogues even this time. The directors’ idea is simple: build on the momentum of the first film, but at the same time, not reveal too much about the film.
It also appears that the second asset will also be screened in cinemas along with the big Diwali releases, viz. Tamma And The madness of a madman. The source said: “Things will be clear on that front in a few days.”
Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in the lead along with Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal. It is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios and directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The surgical strike (2019) fame. Last week, Bollywood Hungama announced that Ranveer Singh had completed filming, while Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna had a few days of work left.
