The crazy comic hug, Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoosis set to release tomorrow, January 16 and has grabbed attention due to its original trailer, casting and Aamir Khan’s association as producer and also special appearance. A few days ago, its director Vir Das revealed that the film got an ‘A’ certificate. In this article, Bollywood Hungama will focus exclusively on the cut list.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has adopted Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos with an “A” certificate. However, they requested some changes. In four places, the dialogues have been replaced by appropriate lines. However, the cut list does not mention any details about these dialogues. Secondly, a visual containing the word “brown” was asked to be removed. It lasted 43 seconds and was replaced by an approved visual of 21 seconds. Finally, manufacturers were asked to increase the font size of all alcohol, tobacco and tobacco disclaimers.
The good news is that Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos has several abuses and insults and they were allowed. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that this is the most liberal the CBFC has seen in a long time.
Very recently, in Dhurandharsome abuses were hushed up despite the “A” rating. This is not the case here. What is also surprising is that usually the review board (RB) asks for multiple cuts in such films, prompting filmmakers to approach the review board and hope for fewer cuts. In the case of Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoosit was the EC that adopted the film with minimal modifications.
The creators of Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos received the censorship certificate on January 13. The duration of the film, as mentioned on the certificate, was 121.42 minutes. In other words, Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos lasts 2 hours, 1 minute and 42 seconds.
Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos is directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri and produced by Vir, Kavi, Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. It stars Vir Das, Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar and others.
