Aiden Markram decided to separate from the SA20 Sunrisers Eastern Cape franchise before the auction which will take place on Sep 9.
Lucknow’s super-managers, Aiden Markram, decided to separate from the Sunrisers Eastern Cape team before the auction later this year. The South African was released by IPL Side Sunrisers Hyderabad before the mega auction IPL 2025 and was bought by LSG. The next edition of SA20 will start from December 26, 2025 and the final will take place a few days before the T20 World Cup.
Markram offers goodbye to Sunrisers in SA20
Markram decided to separate from the two Champions of SA20 and enter the auction. Under the captain of the Proteas star, Sunrisers Eastern Cape won two successive titles in 2023 and 2024. The auction of SA20 for 2026 will be held on September 9.
Markram played 36 games for dry and raised 967 points, with an average of 34.53. Until now, he has a century and five fifty ones in his name in SA20.
