Europe needs an infrastructure overhaul to fight against summer heat waves, says the expert

With increasingly frequent and intense summer waves of summer, Europe must revise its urban infrastructure in order to manage the increase in temperatures, said Dr. Chloe Brimicombe, air conditioning of the Royal Meteorological Society. Brimicombe said that Europe must invest in “urban planning” and “the increase in natural ventilation” to help its citizens brave hot summer months on the continent, adding that such investments also require a change in policy.
