England and India Test Series are heading for Thriller Monday morning | Cricket news

England needs 35 additional races to beat India because the fifth test thriller goes to the last day of the five -game series.

It will be a Thriller on Monday morning to decide the cricket series between England and India after Bad Light and Rain forced a start to play in the fifth and last test, England needing 35 other points to win.

England was 339-6 in Stums on the fourth day on Sunday, to pursue a target of 374. England leads the 2-1 series.

India must claim four other counters – perhaps three – for Victory and equalize the series.

England has only three counters left because of Chris Woake’s shoulder injury. Woakes was seen in his cricket whites in the oval on Sunday, but with his left arm in a scarf in the middle of speculation, he would come out at number 11 if necessary and beat a hand.

Joe Root was again the Savior of England on Sunday with 105 points, and Harry Brook struck 111, while England was aimed at making another impressive race chase.

The counter Jamie Smith (2 steps out) and the launcher Jamie Overton (0 not out) are in the fold.

England hunted 371 in the opening of Leeds, its record prosecution in Headingley.

Root and Brook had struck what seemed to be centuries of testing of the series – Root’s 39th and Brook’s 10th – before India dates back to the end of the end of the day five while the two strikers stumbled from victory in sight.

Jacob Bethell also came across a terrible shot, cutting pressure on England.

England had been ready to carry out its most daring pursuit in the Bazball era, and the second highest in its history, with apparent ease. But his late triple started when Brook launched his bat and his counter against Akash Deep, taking a halfway. The 30th test century has made Brook the fastest man at 10 hundred in 70 years. Brook had made India paid expensive so as not to have taken it out of 19 years before lunch, when Mohammed Siraj caught Brook but carried it on the borderline.

Then, the nervous Bethell produced a ugly shift to drag her stumps, before the root was taken in a young window for Prasidh Krishna (3-109), the hosts still needing 37 other points.

Root and Brook had reversed the momentum in an afternoon session Croisy after India won the morning session and was strongly favored for lunch.
