“ Ella McCay ” with Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis drops the first trailer

Emma Mackey, better known for her role in Sex educationshould run the upcoming film Ella McCay.
Based on a young law student who becomes governor of the state after his boss (Albert Brooks) is promoted to a federal cabinet post.
In the newly released trailer, Ella is seen in the process of navigating her life while managing new responsibilities of becoming governor and family drama, including her distant father (Woody Harrelson), his brother (Spike Fearn) and his aunt (Jamie Lee Curtis).
The trailer begins with Julie Kavner presenting herself as the narrator of the story, saying: “I am here to provide facts on Ella McCay. I have been working for her since she finished the Faculty of Law, so I’m not exactly neutral. I’m crazy about her.”
Later in the trailer when his dysfunctional family and his new job become hectic, Ella’s aunt encourages him to shout to let the frustration escape, however, her niece rejects the saying: “No, I might not be able to stop.”
At the end of the trailer, the Tante-Nièce duo finally surprised by shouting it together.
The upcoming film is the writer-director James L. Brooks first film since 2010 how do you know.
Previously, Brooks said The Hollywood Reporter That the film takes place in 2008 and is “on the way of not doing government services and political functions, something of a healthy person from fleeing”.
