Elizabeth McGovern talks about the closure of the chapter “Downton Abbey”

Elizabeth McGovern shared her reflections on the future Downton Abbey projects before the release of Downton Abbey: the grand finale.

The historical drama, inspired by the true history and British society at the beginning of the 20th century, arrived at its end in September.

McGovern, who plays Cora Crawley, responded to reports on the creator of Lord Julian Fellowes said “never to say” if this film was really the final.

McGovern said: “Everyone has definitely had mixed feelings again to do Downton, especially without Maggie [Smith]. “”

Remembering Smith, McGovern spoke about it is like working with her.

She recalled: “Literally everything you could imagine. Absolutely wonderful, hell on earth.”

Downton Abbey: the grand finale will be published in the cinemas on September 12.
