Dolly Parton pauses concerts

Dolly Parton puts her Las Vegas programs on hold while she focuses on her health.

The country’s legend, 79, announced on September 28 that she postponed her concerts from December 2025 until September 2026 after the doctors advised her to undergo some medical procedures.

In a message to Instagram fans, Parton shared that she has faced health challenges and joked: “It must be time for my 100,000 mile exam, although this is not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!

She explained that due to the treatments, she would not have enough time to prepare for the kind of show that she wants her audience to live.

“Depending on the seriousness, given that, I will not be able to repeat and assemble the show I want you to see, and the show you deserve to see,” she wrote.

“You pay a lot of money to see me playing, and I want to be my best for you. Although I can always work on all my projects here in Nashville, I just need a little time to prepare the show, as they say.”

THE Jolate The singer also reassured her fans that it does not mean that she is retiring.

“Don’t worry about me to leave business because God has said nothing about the stop,” she said.

“But, I think he tells me to slow down right now, so I can be ready for more great adventures with you all. I love you and thank you for understanding. ”

Although Parton did not enter into detail on the coming procedures, she recently revealed that a kidney stone had put her away from attending a Dollywood event earlier in September.

In a video published on September 17, she explained that the stone had caused an infection, and her doctor told her that she needed rest.

“You don’t need to travel to this minute, so you need a few days to improve,” she recalls.

For the moment, Parton takes the time to heal, with the promise that when she returns on stage to Las Vegas, she will be ready to give her fans the performance they deserve.
