While the Los Angeles Dodgers are getting closer to their 12th title of the West National League in 13 seasons, a large part of their damage in 2025 came against their greatest rival.
The Dodgers (87-67) will continue their ninth victory this season on the Giants of San Francisco (76-78) when the teams meet for the third competition of a series of four games on Saturday in Los Angeles.
On Friday, the Dodgers won a 6-3 victory against the Giants while Gaucher Clayton Kershaw made the last start at home of the regular season of his career. Kershaw granted two points on four safe in 4 1/3 sleeves with six stick withdrawals and made four goals on unusual bullets.
Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts struck consecutive circuits while Los Angeles won his 13th place in the playoffs on Friday. The magic number of the Dodgers to win the NL West title for the 12th time in 13 seasons is four.
