Amanda Bynes has broken her silence on the ongoing controversy surrounding former Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider.
A TikTok video, posted by a fan account, went viral claiming that Schneider had impregnated the American actress when she was a teenager.
The now-deleted clip showed Bynes recording herself with the text “the man I got pregnant with him when I was 13!” [crying emoji]’ above.
The video then cut to a remade spa segment featuring Schneider with young Bynes from his recurring film. Amanda’s Jacuzzi sketch.
However, recently the All that The actress categorically rejected the claim, calling it “clickbait lies.”
She clarified that the video did not come from her official TikTok account and that the fan page had simply edited its content to spread lies.
The resurfaced footage initially gained traction after the documentary, Quiet on set: The dark side of children’s television released.
The documentary Investigation Discovery released in 2024 examined accusations of misconduct behind Nickelodeon shows.
Following the documentary, Schneider filed a defamation suit against Warner Bros. Discovery and other producers, saying he was wrongly accused of being a child molester.
He’s the name behind hits like Drake and Josh, iCarly And Victorious.
While Schneider continues to fight the legal battle, Bynes has kept a low profile since leaving Hollywood in 2010.
She made a rare appearance in December 2024 when she broke out to host a pop-up art exhibition.
