Report: Jerome Ford de Browns takes a salary reduction; Nick Chubb Out?

Browns, ball carrier Jerome Ford, accepted a salary reduction on Friday, perhaps reporting the end of Nick Chubb’s mandate, Cleveland.com reported.
Ford has agreed to reduce his wages by $ 3.486 million to $ 1.486 million to $ 1.75 million guaranteed, report.
The return of Chubb, which is not signed, depends “largely on the question of whether Ford accepted or not the drop in salary or was exchanged to another team”, according to the report.
Ford, 25, rushed to 565 yards and three affected in 14 games (six departures) last season, adding 37 catches for 225 yards.
It has 1,390 yards on the ground, 544 reception yards and 12 affected in 44 games (18 departures) since the Browns chose it in the fifth round of the NFL 2022 draft.
Chubb, 29, has only played 10 games in the past two seasons due to knee and feet injury. He rushed to 332 yards and three scores in eight departures in 2024.
Selection four times Pro Bowl and Quadruple Rusher of 1000 yards, Chubb ranks third in the history of the franchise with 6,843 yards on the ground behind the members of the temple of professional football Jim Brown and Leroy Kelly.
The Browns selected the Tennessee Running Back Dylan Sampson in the fourth round of the NFL 2025 draft last weekend and also have Pierre Strong Jr. on the list.
