Damson Idris recently shared a funny story on the first time he thought he had spotted Brad Pitt for years before ending up working together.
June 18, while he The Late Show with Stephen ColbertIdris explained that before becoming an actor, he was a bailiff at the London London Theater.
“I used to work at the Lyceum Theater. I was a bailiff there in London,” said Idris, sharing a day when he thought Pitt came to see The Lion King.
“The reason I worked there is because I wanted to spy on the actors and try to learn, to be a sponge. And one day, Brad Pitt comes to watch the room, and I’m on the back working.
So I rush: “Oh my God, Brad Pitt is here.” And I don’t catch it. I see blond hair, blue jeans and tanning boots coming out. I said, “Wow, one day, I’m going to work with him,” recalls Idris.
This dream finally realized when they played in F1But Idris learned that he probably never saw Pitt that day.
“I told the story to Brad. I said, “Hey, when I was younger, I saw you. You came to the king of the lion. He was like: “I have never seen the king of the lion,” said Idris laughing.
Elsewhere in the interview, Idris spoke of their filming experience F1 And how both led their own cars for the film.
“We have traveled up to 180 miles per hour,” said Idris.
“I tried to run against Pitt. Brad is very fast. He is just an incredible Adrenaline drug addict. He makes bikes. ”
Idris also shared that the film’s training took about four months. “And it took us about two years to make this film,” he said.
