Dame Helen Mirren favors her natural hair over dyes, despite being a long-time promoter and global brand ambassador L’Oreal Paris.
According to Daily mail, The 80-year-old English actress, whose entertainment career spans more than six decades, joked that it wasn’t about being brave and accepting her natural beauty, but that she now prefers not to “worry” about her style.
Mirren, who has been flaunting her sleek white bob for the past few years even though the beauty giant is paying her a fortune to promote her Age Perfect hair dye, expressed her thoughts saying, “I don’t color my hair at all because it doesn’t bother me.”
She continued, clarifying, “It’s not being brave or anything. I just can’t deal with it. I’ve always had blonde hair and my hair would turn that kind of color in the sun anyway.”
“It was kind of turning white. So I slowly got whiter and whiter,” the Oscar winner joked.
In the past, Mirren has shared her reservations about beauty products, particularly moisturizers.
“When I put my moisturizer on, it probably does everything, but it makes me feel better,” said the MobLand » remarked the star at that time.
