Surveys are closed in Japan pivot elections


Japanese voters went to the polls on Sunday in a closely disputed election in the upper chamber which could trigger political disorders, with an increase in prices, immigration problems and the emergence of a “Japanese” Trump style party threatening to weaken Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on power. Professor in Japanese studies in Inalco, Guiborg Delamotte, joins us to explain more.
