While union is looking for a rebound against fire, they should be encouraged by history

Given the domination of the Union of Philadelphia at home, in particular compared to Chicago over the years, they appear in good shape to bounce from a rare MLS defeat.
Undefeated in 12 consecutive home games, the union can sweep this season series by interrupting the undefeated race for five Fire games on Saturday evening in Chester. Pennsylvania.
One point behind the leaders of the East Conference, FC Cincinnati, Philadelphia (15-6-6, 51 points) had its last end 3-0-2 with the 1-0 defeat last weekend in New York Red Bulls. Although the union did not grant more than one objective in 12 consecutive MLS games, this reverse could be an apprenticeship experience.
“We are where we are rightly so,” said Philadelphia coach Bradley Carnell. “This is a challenge for our group. … We grow up every day, even when they don’t go in our direction.”
Things have become at the house of Philadelphia, where it is 8-0-4 since the only defeat-3-1 against Nashville SC on March 16. Chicago (11-9-6, 39 points), meanwhile, has been 0-7-4 in Philadelphia since his last victory, 2-1 on August 3, 2013.
The fire, however, played with a 2-2 draw there last season. Brian Gutierrez had a goal with a decisive pass in this competition and scored the equal break in the 87th minute of the 3-2 home victory last weekend against St. Louis City.
The result maintained Chicago in the position of eliminatory series in the east.
“It was an important victory for the club because our goal is to make the playoffs,” said Gutierrez on the official Fire website.
GUTIERREZ has this goal during two assists in the last two games. Hugo Cuypers and Philip Zinckenagel’s teammates, who combined for 26 goals this season, also scored against Saint-Louis.
Bruno Damiani was converted by a 10th minute kick during the 1-0 victory in Philadelphia in Chicago on June 25. Meanwhile, his teammate Tai Baribo recorded only two of his 15 goals at the top of the team in his last nine games.
It is not certain that the goalkeeper Star Union, Andre Blake, will be available after undergoing a leg injury against the Red Bulls.
The new fire defender Joel Waterman, acquired from Montreal after Carlos Teran was sold in Athletico Paranainense in Brazil, could be presented on Saturday.
