Social media on fire while the former nugget coach calls Shai Gilgeous-Alexander MVP

Denver Nuggets dismissed Michael Malone in early April after the team lost four consecutive games. Denver’s consecutive losses were the last straw of Malone’s passage with the Nuggets, which he guided to the 2023 championship. The champion coach is now working for ESPN as part of the crew covering the Western Conference final.
Malone did not hold back when he was asked how the OKC Thunder rallied to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-88 in match 1 Tuesday. He said that the star of the Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander “showed the world why he was the MVP”.

“Now we understand why Jokic has licensed Michael Malone”
A fan said:
“Crazy considering that the real MVP is the reason why it has obtained 10 years of pay checks”
Another fan added:
“By turning on the player who has made your career, he is nothing without Jokic, I pray on his fall”

“He knows Jokic is overweight”

“Jokic has made his career lol”
Michael Malone’s comments created a buzz on Tuesday since he trained the Denver Nuggets for all matches except four in the regular season. Over the past five years, he has argued that Nikola Jokic, Cornerstone of the franchise of his former team, was the best player in the NBA. Malone would not have made the same statement about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Tuesday if Denver had not dismissed him.
Last year, Jokic stung SGA for the MVP price. Both are in another photo finished for the same recognition this time. Malone made his verdict on national television on which should win the battle.
The performance of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander impressed the coach of ex-nuggets Michael Malone
The OKC Thunder faced a deficit of 48-44 at halftime against the Minnesota Timberwolves in match 1 Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who started slow, came to life in the third quarter to help his team take control of the match.
SGA collected 10 points and three assists in the third framework. The MVP candidate also helped Oklahoma to chain Timberwolves, limiting Anthony Edwards and Co. 18 points from the period. The former Denver Nuggets coach could not help being impressed by the superstar against which he could have been against play games in the playoffs this year.
The oklahoma push after half-time gave them an advance of 76-66 entering the fourth quarter. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued, offering eight points and two assists to push his team to a comfortable victory of 114-88.
