Cook c. Trump: Mortgages at the heart of the high issues

The allegations are from Bill Pulte, a named against the Federal Agency which regulates Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Pulte linked Cook to the three properties in two separate references to the Ministry of Justice.

The report, which lasts 12 pages, shows that Cook has won more than $ 50,000 per year for rental of its Cambridge condominium, Massachusetts.
Pulte said in a letter to the Ministry of Justice that Cook had not represented Cambridge’s co -ownership as an investment property to the lender. He said she had claimed the residence as a second house.

Cook also obtained a mortgage of $ 540,000 at 30 for a luxury condo above the Four Seasons hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
The loan, issued by the staff of the Federal Credit Union bank fund, included an interest rate of 3.25%.

In this loan agreement, Cook “said that this property would serve as a main residence within 60 days of the mortgage execution and served as a main residence for a full year,” according to Pulte’s reference letter to the Ministry of Justice.

Cook did not explain why the houses of Michigan and Georgia are listed as its main residence. Her lawyer, Abbe Lowell, wrote in a file on September 2 that she “had never committed mortgage fraud”.
