The Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission (Cofece) gave its approval to the acquisition by Pan American Silver of all the ordinary actions issued and in the circulation of Mag Silver.
This marks the final regulatory approval required to complete the arrangement, which should end around September 4, 2025.
Following a final agreement signed in May, Pan American Silver should acquire Mag Silver for a total consideration of around 2.1 billion dollars ($ 2.91 billion C).
The transaction has now obtained all the regulatory, shareholders and judicial approvals of regulation and necessary courts, including the last order of the court.
The recorded holders of MAG Silver shares have until 2 p.m. (Vancouver time) on August 27, 2025 to receive reception, or $ 20.54 in cash per MAG share or the default election of $ 0.0001 in cash and 0.755 on the one -part Pan -American part per act of MAG held.

The offer for Mag Silver’s actions represents a bonus of 21 to 27% compared to the average fence and volume price from 20 days to May 9, 2025.
In a related development, Unico Silver concluded a final agreement in August from last year, thanks to a binding letter of intent (law), to take complete control of the Joaquin and Cerro Putudo projects from Pan American in Argentina.
The acquisition of the District of Joaquin Silver includes 16 mining complaints covering more than 35,000 hectares and is 60 km west of Cerro Leon, the area being easily accessible by public roads 12 and 75.
