High potential finally revealed what was in Roman’s backpack as Morgan continued his search.
During the Tuesday, October 21 episode of the hit ABC series, Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) and Ava (Amirah J.) were missing, which meant Roman’s backpack remained closed. It wasn’t until the end of the episode that Morgan revealed the contents of the bag, which implied that Roman was keeping track of his daughter.
One of the items in the backpack showed that Roman had attended Ava’s dance recital when she was younger. This proved that Roman still cared about Ava, even after her mysterious disappearance. Morgan said she wasn’t sure about the rest of the items in the backpack, but she wasn’t giving up her search for her ex.
High potentialpremiering in September 2024, follows a high-potential intellectual named Morgan who teams up with the LAPD to help solve murders. She teams up with Karadec (Daniel Sundiata), who is initially skeptical of how Morgan can help the Major Crimes Unit, but eventually begins to rely on her.
The season 1 finale aired in February and confirmed that Morgan’s ex-Roman was still alive after disappearing for over a decade. The only Morgan information – and everything We – is that his ex was working as an FBI informant and he doesn’t trust the LAPD. This created a problem for Morgan since she is a consultant, which Roman questioned according to his friend Arthur (Mekhi Phifer).
Executive producer and showrunner Todd Harthan I already spoke to Us every week about Roman’s reveal plan.
“We talked about it a lot like, ‘Wow, we have time, and I hope now the show is a success and we can go get this actor or that actor.’ But the truth is, I haven’t had an in-depth conversation with Kaitlin about this – and she will have a strong opinion. “I think frustration is a good thing for an audience. It’s a healthy frustration – don’t give them too much of what they want too soon,” Harthan noted of “deepening” the mystery. “I’d be totally lying if I said I had all the answers to this mystery. The wonderful thing about welcoming other minds into the room is how we make sure we don’t miss that ball and tell this story in the most satisfying way imaginable. But there’s some cool stuff coming.”
Amirah, meanwhile, recently opened up about what fans can expect in season 2, sharing with We“In my opinion, I love season 1 but I feel like season 2 will be even better, which I think will be really exciting for the fans to see. There’s definitely more drama, it’s more suspenseful and more heartbreaking in a way too. But in a good way.”
