Chandler Simpson, Rays tries to meet serial victories against White Sox

Chandler Simpson remains simple.
The recruit of Tampa Bay Rays Speedster knows what is expected of him, and he does his best to deliver.
By recording three stolen bases, Simpson will look for a reminder on Wednesday when the Rays will compete in the rubber match of the three -game series against the White Sox of Chicago on visit.
“I just know what I am supposed to do and try not to go out,” said Simpson, according to Tampa Bay Times. “And I know that what I am supposed to do is what will help the team win.”
The Rays manager, Kevin Cash, liked to see Simpson, 24, make his way in the bases. The outfall stolen 30 bases in 58 games.
“He knows his forces,” said Cash. “He will try to maximize his forces, and it exerted a pressure on the defense with the contact capacity, then once he arrived on the base, the whole stadium, the whole stadium knows that he is trying to run.
“So no, I don’t think he showed once trying to do something different, except to be who he is.”
Jose Caballero had a single two points to highlight a second round of four points in Tampa Bay’s 4-3 victory on Tuesday evening.
Caballero managed two of the five strokes for the Rays on Tuesday, helping his club take up his two game skids and stop a sequence of four game victories from the White Sox season.
Jonathan Cannon of Chicago (4-7, 4.18 ERA) will be responsible for keeping Simpson and Caballero at a distance on Wednesday when he was starting against the Taj Bradley of Tampa Bay (6-6, 4.35) in a battle of right-handers.
Cannon, 25, improved at 2-0 with an MPM of 2.60 in three outings this month after granting one point on five strokes in seven rounds of a 10-1 victory in Pittsburgh last Friday.
He had a hard time in his only career appearance against Tampa Bay, allowing four points on eight sure – including two circuits – in five rounds of a decision without decision on April 27, 2024, during his third career departure. The White Sox won 8-7 in 10 rounds.
Like Cannon, Bradley won the victory during his last trip to the mound. Friday, Bradley dispersed three strokes of six -rounds aimlessly in the Baltimore Orioles of the Rays.
Bradley, 24, has not yet faced the White Sox in his young career.
COLSON Montgomery of Chicago launched its first career circuit in the majors on Tuesday after driving the seventh with an explosion of 359 feet. Unfortunately for the White Sox, they could only bring together six strokes and saw their sequence of victories of four games of four games stop.
Luis Robert Jr. is expected to return to the program after being selected on Wednesday. He has two circuits and eight points produced to highlight his sequence of eight current matches.
“(He is) connected,” said Venable, director of the White Sox, about Robert. “The way he ran there to Pittsburgh, and a hot day yesterday, I just want to keep it cool and feel good.”
Chase Meidroth had a simple RBI on Tuesday, one day deleted from the collection of four strokes during the 8-3 victory in Chicago during the opening of the series. He is sure – including four doubles – in his last four games.
