With less than two weeks until the end of the summer transfer window, Celtic has now concluded an agreement in principle to sign an attacker target for Brendan Rodgers.
Celtic always hunting reinforcements
Even after another flawless beginning of the Scottish Première campaign, the Celtic defending champions are still looking for reinforcements this month. The Bhoys will be well aware of the importance of building at the top and even if the tastes of Benjamin Nygren represent this ambition, there is still room for fresher faces.

Jamie Vardy is one of the players who found themselves on the Celtic radar. The former Leicester City striker prospered under Rodgers at the King Power and could now find his former manager now that he has left the foxes as a free agent.
Even at 38, Vardy still would have a lot to offer the current Celtic team on and off the field. Last season, the veteran of the Premier League scored 10 goals in all competitions while a team of Leicester in difficulty underwent a relegation. Any concern that he would not be able to leave his mark on the Scottish Minister should therefore be resting.
Vardy is not the only target on the Celtic radar, however, and it seems that they are now getting closer and closer to ultimately accommodate a long -term target.
Celtic scope contract in principle for Balikwisha
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Celtic has now reached an agreement in principle to sign Michel-Oge Balikwisha from Royal Antwerp. As always with the winger, the agreement is far from simple. According to Tavolieri, even if this agreement was concluded and that a medical was planned, there are internal problems that must be resolved before Balikwisha can finally become a Celtic player.
It is a bit of a day of marmot for Celtic fans, who were denied the possibility of welcoming Balikwisha last season when he suffered a premature injury.
