Cassie reacts after Sean “Diddy” sentenced to 4 years in prison

Cassie reacted to the former friend friend Sean “Diddy” Combs Pintence of four years in prison in a shared statement via his lawyer.
“Although nothing can cancel the trauma caused by the combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses that he has committed,” said the lawyer Douglas Wigdor said US Weekly Friday October 3. “We are convinced that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue to heal knowing that her bravery and her strength were an inspiration for so.”
Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison on Friday after his conviction in July for two transport managers to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted the most serious accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking. (Diddy pleaded not guilty of the accusations and denied all the allegations against him.)
Cassie, who was released with Diddy from time to time from 2007 to 2018, was one of the main witnesses to the Diddy Federal Trial, which began in May. During four days, Cassie, who was then pregnant with herself and husband Alex goodThe third baby, testified on the physical and sexual abuses that she suffered in the hands of Diddy during their relationship.
A large part of his testimony has focused on the so -called “Freak OFS” of Diddy, which Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) said involving the hiring of escorts for sex. “The monsters have become a job where there was no space to do something other than recovering and trying to feel normal again,” she said in court, alleging that these parties could last from 36 hours to four days and implied sex with “foreigners” while consuming drugs and alcohol. With breaks, she said, the frequentations could last even longer, and she would then need additional time to recover from dehydration, sleep deprivation and drug use.
Cassie had previously filed a complaint against Diddy in November 2023, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse during their relationship. He denied his allegations in a press release via his lawyer, and they settled outside the courtyard a day later. During the trial, Cassie revealed that Diddy had paid him $ 20 million.
Six months later, CNN published disclosed surveillance images that showed that Diddy attacked Cassie in a hotel in Los Angeles. This sequence was presented as proof during the trial, and Cassie testified that she was trying to leave a monster during her shooting. (Diddy apologized for his behavior in a video of social media shared in May 2024.)
Before Diddy’s conviction on Friday, Cassie submitted a letter to the judge Arun Subramanian Asking him to consider the experiences of the victims when he decides the prison sentence of his ex.
“If there is one thing that I have learned from this experience, it is that the victims and the survivors will never be safe,” she wrote in the letter on Tuesday September 30. “Although I can hope for justice and responsibility, I am not having nothing to trust. I hope your decision considers the truths at hand that the jury has not seen.”
She continued saying that she feared the reprisals of Diddy or her associates after her release.
“I still have nightmares and flashbacks on a regular and regular basis, and I continue to need psychological care to deal with my past. My concerns that Sean Combs or his associates will come after me and my family is my reality, ”she wrote. “I actually moved my family out of the New York region and I remain as private and silent as possible because I am so afraid that if it is released, its first actions will be in rapid remuneration towards me and others that have spoken of its abuses to the test. So much progress that I made to keep me constantly for me to have the truth.
Cassie concluded: “I hope your decision to condemn reflects the strength it took for the victims of Sean Combs to manifest. I hope your decision considers the many lives that Sean Combs has turned upside down with his abuses and control. ”
