Cardi B gives birth to her fourth baby with boyfriend Stefon Diggs

CardiB is officially a mother of four after welcoming her first baby with her boyfriend Steve Diggs.
The music star, 33, announced the news via an Instagram post on Thursday, November 13, where she revealed that she had welcomed “a new baby into the world.”
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the start of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s definitely worth it! I brought new music and a new album into the world! A new baby in my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so that I can continue to give my babies love and life they deserve,” she wrote via the post’s caption.
She added, “This next chapter is Me versus Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything that’s supposed to get in my way. I’ve started preparing for the tour, getting my body back together, getting back into shape. There’s nothing that’s going to stop me from giving you the performance of a lifetime! I’ve learned, I’ve healed, and I love the woman I’ve become! That’s what this new era means to me and I’m entering it better than ever. never.”
The rapper previously welcomed daughter Kulture in July 2018, son Wave in September 2021, and daughter Blossom in September 2024. She shares her three older children with Compensate.
Cardi confirmed in September 2025 that she and Diggs were expecting a child, revealing during a CBS Mornings interview, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend.”
Diggs subtly addressed the news when asked about “the baby rumors” during an NFL press conference at the time.
“Oh, my personal life?” he said. “I told you about it. We won’t talk too much about my personal life, but I’ve heard about it.”
Asked if he planned to celebrate his and Cardi’s impending arrival in the locker room with his New England Patriots teammates, Diggs coyly replied, “We’ll see.”
Diggs then commented on Cardi’s Instagram account, stating that he was “100% team boy.”
Later that month, Cardi hinted that she was on the same page as Diggs when it came to the gender of their baby, referencing the topic in the risqué lyrics of her song “On My Back.”
“I look in your eyes all day / I swear to God, I hope our kids get all your face / Take these clothes off and throw them on the floor / I told my girl I’m about to give this man a boy / Throw me on my back,” the lyrics go.
Elsewhere inside her CBS Mornings interview, Cardi offered a rare insight into her relationship with Diggs, who she was first linked to in 2024.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong,” she said. “I feel very powerful doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man are very supportive of each other.”
According to Cardi, Diggs makes her “feel safe, very confident and very strong.”
“It makes you feel like you can take on the world,” she said. “[He told me when we started dating]’Let me heal you. Give me a chance to heal you.’”
Cardi added that she wanted to “make some deals first” before publicly sharing her pregnancy news, but was looking forward to welcoming her fourth baby.
As for the couple’s future, Cardi teased it during a September 2025 appearance on Today that she was ready to take the next step with Diggs.
“I would remarry. I believe in love,” she said. “I’m a hopeless romantic.”
As she prepared for the arrival of her fourth baby, Cardi opened up about her past childbirth experiences, revealing that she suffered vaginal tears during her first two deliveries.
“It was hard,” she recalled in a September 2025 episode of the “Breakfast Club” podcast. “But that’s what I’m saying: Now things are just a little different and I have more experience. The third one was so easy, so I expect this one to be easy too, in the name of the Lord. That’s why I’m like, ‘I just did that last year. I can do it.” [again].’”
