Luke Littles will start his defense of the Jack’s Casino World Series of Darts finals against Simon Whitlock on Saturday afternoon.

The event of 32 players in Amsterdam takes place from Friday to Sunday with the winner winning the first prize of £ 80,000 and the total price of £ 400,000.

Littler, winner of consecutive events of the World Series in Australia and New Zealand in August, beat Michael Smith 11-4 in the World Series 2024 final.

The teenager is a secondary to the Netherlands after finishing behind Stephen Bunting in the World Series ranking.

An appetizing match in the first round on Friday evening stops the title champion of the first League, Luke Humphries, the fourth seeded, against James Wade. The pair met in the semi-finals of the opening of the Czech darts last weekend, Humphries moving to a 7-1 victory on its way to keep the trophy.

The second round will take place on Saturday evening with the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final on Sunday.
