The very first meeting of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Saturday between the Boston College and Cal at Chestnut Hill, Mass., Will be a major rebound for the two teams.

The Boston College (1-2, 0-1 ACC) had a long wait to get back on the ground, carrying a defeat of 30-20 at the opening of the League in Stanford in a week of leave. Now, the Eagles of the second year coach Bill O’brien are starting a section of eight consecutive weeks against the Golden Bears (3-1, 0-0).

While the transfer of Alabama, Dylan Longan, launched 90 supplements in total and a record of 330.3 yards per game per game per game, the turnover injured the Eagles in both defeats. The three in Stanford led to opposite scores.

Bucking This trend was a major goal of the week off.

“We have to take care of the ball,” said O’Brien. “Watch the professional games and watch the university matches (this last weekend). The majority of these games, the turnover is the difference in the game.”

Lonergan established a quick connection with Lewis Bond (9.67 receptions, 91.7 yards per game) and the tight winger Jeremiah Franklin as part of the main pass attack. In Stanford, Reed Harris also experienced a career summit of seven catches for 141 yards.

Cal had only granted 32 points in three games – all the two -digit victories – before the defeat of 34-0 last Saturday in San Diego State, which was an outsider of 14 points.

By describing what kind of practice he hoped to see from his team that comes out of this defeat, Cal Justin Wilcox coach said it frankly.

“Urgent,” he said. “Edge. There must be an advantage in practice. There must be an emergency in practice. This is what the last days.”

Wilcox sees room for open competitions, especially in the wide receiver and the offensive line, but the real Jaron-Kilk-Keawe Sagapolutele recruit ran with the opportunity to lead to the quarter.

The double recruit of the ACC week has already accumulated 980 yards by the pass, including 208 last week, but three reversals against Aztecs had a major impact on the loss.

“It really starts with me. I did not go out by shooting,” said Sagapolutele last week. “It will be a big for us.”
