Brittany Snow says Hunting Wives season 2 will make fans ‘very angry’

Season 2 of The Hunting Wives is going to be even “hotter” – so why Brittany Snow do you think people will be “very angry”?
Snow, 39, was asked about the show during the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11, telling AND! News“Oh, it’s just as hot. It’s hotter, actually. We filmed some scenes, we played some Reneé Rapp. We got into the groove. We do it.”
The actress, who plays Sophie, admitted she was curious to see how viewers would react.
“There’s a lot of things happening this season that are very shocking, I will say,” she continued. “It’s going to make people very angry, but in a sexy way.”
Based on Mai Cobb’The book of the same name, The Hunting Wives, features Sophie, who moved from Boston to a town in East Texas where she found herself attracted to prominent socialite Margo (Malin Akerman). While some have become invested in the murder at the center of the series, The Hunting Wives also provided plenty of entertainment with guns, drinking, and steamy hookups on screen.
The eight-part series, which premiered in July 2025, was originally filmed for Starz before Lionsgate Television acquired the rights to it (and Netflix licensed U.S. rights to the series for a year). As a result, viewers got more NSFW sex scenes than expected.

So when you have that power – and she’s very aware of it – she knows how to use it and she does it,” Åkerman, 47, exclusively said. Us every week when the series started. “So I like that about her. That’s what gets controversial and funny and salacious and sassy, and that’s why we want to watch her.”
Snow, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude to Åkerman as a scene partner.
“What’s really great about Malin too is that she’s really, really tuned in to what I was thinking or what other people were thinking in terms of comfort,” she shared on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast in October 2025. “So she’s always been very aware – [since] she is Swedish – that she is more open with nudity. She’s still a woman and wants to look good and isn’t just walking around naked. But I was more conscientious about it.
Snow continued: “She was like, ‘Do you want me to put my body here so you don’t have to show this part of yourself?’ I was like, “That’s so selfless and kind.” »
According to an official synopsis, season 2 of The Hunting Wives resumes with Sophie and Margo “in the background”.
“But soon, old secrets and new enemies force them to reunite,” reads the description for the hit series. “As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
