Milwaukee’s Brewers have powerfully fought on the road while Tampa Bay Rays just can’t get home.

The Brewers and Rays will want to change their end of this story on Friday evening when they open a series of three games in Tampa.

Sporting a record of 7-12 on the road, Milwaukee turns to the left-hander Jose Quintana (4-1, 2.83 ERA) to start the opening of the series against the right-hander of Tampa Bay Zack Littell (2-5, 4.61).

The Rays were left to lick their injuries after having wasted a four-point lead in a 7-6 and 10 in the Philadelphia Phillies rounds on Thursday.

Yandy Diaz went deeply for the second time in three games, surrounding a three -point circuit for Tampa Bay, who lost three consecutive, seven in a row at home and 11 of her last 12 home competitions.

Quintana followed a brilliant months of April – when he only granted three points in total in four departures (all victories) – with a disastrous demonstration on Saturday. He authorized six points in seven strokes – including three circuits – in five rounds of a 6-2 setback at the Chicago Cubs.

Quintana, 36, is 1-5 with an MPM of 5.40 in 10 career appearances (nine departures) against Tampa Bay.

Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy plans to see the return of the receiver William Contreras, the Voltiger Sal Flicel and the second Basse Turang basic player for the opening of the series. Contreras missed a match while playing through a fractured finger on his left hand. Fronick participated in three competitions with a left knee injury, and Turang is dealing with an illness.

“They do all kinds of things to put things in his glove, and he injected his finger, which should calm down,” Murphy said about the situation of Contreras. “Now we have to do something, (because) when he swings the bat, it’s so painful for him. We work that.”

The teammate Christian Yelich praised the tenacity of Contreras while the receiver fights against the injury.

“I think I remember Moose (Mike Moustakas) playing with a broken finger,” said Yelich. “Everyone plays with something, but a broken finger is quite extreme. He has played a lot of things before, exploded fingers and all that. If someone can do it, it’s him.”

Littell responded to a sequence of five defeats at the start by winning each of its last two outings. He authorized the solo circuits to Aaron Judge and Austin Wells as well as another hit more than seven rounds in a 3-2 victory on New York Yankees on Saturday.

“The old adage of,” you are not going to be beaten by solo shots “- we have almost tested this theory,” said Littell.

The Rays manager, Kevin Cash, “to navigate this diet in seven rounds, two solo circuits and these are all the damage – just a great job.”

Littell, 29, has a 0-1 file with an MPM of 1.00 in nine appearances in career rescue against Milwaukee. He will start against the Brewers for the first time.

On Thursday, the Brewers optionized the lift in difficulty Elvin Rodriguez in Nashville and sent his right-handed colleague Aaron Aaron to Triple-A Club for an assignment of rehabilitation when he returns from a tension to the left hamstrings.
