Breaking down Toni and Tamar Braxton’s shocking fight over the Braxtons

The Braxton sisters love a lot but also fight hard.

During the episode of Friday October 31 The Braxtons, Tamar Braxton, Tony Braxton, Towanda Braxton And Trina Braxton came together to help clarify any issues with their family.

As the cameras rolled, Tamar, 48, and Toni, 58, found themselves in a shocking feud after a night filled with allegations.

“You’re a bad girl,” Toni explained to Tamar. “You’re not nice to people. Mental illness is real. It’s not fake.”

Evelyn Braxton continues to be indifferent to her daughters’ social media drama. “I know — knowing them — that they will figure it out. They will get through this,” Evelyn, 77, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting cooking sessions with Tamar and Mrs. E. “They’re sisters for God’s sake. They’ve been sisters their whole lives. In another confessional interview, the “Unbreak My Heart” singer speculated that her sister was “going through something” at the time of filming and was “showing her mistake.”

Tamar, meanwhile, said she was “perfectly fine” and didn’t understand how the dinner turned into a conversation about her mental health journey.

“I came here wanting to be open and honest and have a sisterly conversation,” she said. “You didn’t support me.”

Not one to back down, Toni claimed she paid her own publicists to clean up her sister’s bad behavior on social media.

“Tamar never needed to use my publicist,” Toni explained in a confessional. “That’s not to say my publicists weren’t busy helping me in certain situations. I often find myself disappointed in Tamar because I find she’s comfortable being infamous instead of famous, and I don’t like that for her.”

After Toni asked her sister to leave the table, Tamar shouted something that was beeped. Regardless, Toni almost pushed Toni over the edge.

“Don’t fucking go. I’m getting out of here,” Toni said, pushing the table away. Trina, 50, quickly got up to separate the two sisters. Shortly after, Tamar accused Trina of getting physical with her.

“Everyone has an alter ego,” Toni said in a confessional. “There’s Toni Braxton and Toni Michelle. Toni Michelle is definitely different.”

Tamar originally started the dinner wondering if her sisters had anything to do with a ceasefire she received at her home address. (The sisters denied being part of the legal document.)

Shortly afterward, Tamar claimed she loaned Towanda, 52, $50,000 for a down payment. (Towanda said it was a $35,000 gift.) Tamar also alleged that Towanda used her credit card to pay her own phone bill for four years.

As if there wasn’t enough family drama at the dinner, Towanda then accused Tamar of stealing Toni’s man — an allegation she strongly denied.

“Calm down,” Toni said at one point during the shocking session. “We’re sisters. Shut up. We don’t do ghetto stuff. We’re family.”

Ahead of Season 2’s October 10 launch, Tamar alludes to Us every week that she wasn’t interested in reliving the drama.

“I don’t know anything about this show! I don’t know,” she said. “I really don’t know. I didn’t see any of that.”

But when asked to tease the dinner date, the reality star hinted that things were better with the sisters.
