Brad Pitt reveals if he has already had a “gay experience”

During a revealing podcast cat, Brad Pitt opened up on sobriety and its emotional reset after its second divorce.

The actor also discussed if he had already had a “gay experience”, while admitting that he and his younger brother have experienced homophobic child intimidation.

Brad Pitt thought about joining her alcoholics anonymous after reaching a personal hollow, attributing the honesty of others for helping him to cure.

Pitt has been frank on his personal life in what could be his most revealing interview to date.

The 61 -year -old Oscar winner, who is currently going out with Ines de Ramon, 32, joined Dax Shepard in the episode of Armchair Expert on Monday for a fun and surprisingly open conversation.

During the cat, the two thought about how they met for the first time during an anonymous meeting of alcoholics before Shepard jokingly asks Pitt if the nature of their meeting made him nervous.

“Sexually, do you mean?” The actor of the “Fight Club” replied, laughing. He continued to admit: “You know, I never had a gay experience. I somehow missed this window. But if I did, it wouldn’t be you.”

According to the Daily mailThe cheeky exchange continued while Shepard reacted with a simulation of disappointment.

“Oh guy, you got me. I said to myself,” Wow, he’s going to say. “” Pitt joked in return, “you might be 14th … 15th.”

“I don’t want to boast, but you’re going to have to build me,” said Shepard. “I recommend that you start with a few entries.”

Later in the interview, Pitt also revealed that he and his brother faced homophobic abuses growing up, in particular by being called “gay” and an “FG”.

During the conversation, Pitt spoke of a particularly difficult chapter of his life, describing how the end of his second marriage left him a complete reset.

“I tried everything and anything, everything that someone threw me. … It was a difficult time. I needed to restart,” admitted Pitt.

Reflecting further on his experience in anonymous alcoholics, the actor “Troy” said that the group’s vulnerability had helped him find his voice.

“It gives you permission to go” ok, I’m going to go out on this side and see what’s going on, “he said, by Breath. “And then I really learned to love him.”

Pitt took a moment during the interview to applaud Shepard for having been “so honest F -ck”, especially with regard to sobriety. Shepard was sober for 16 years before a relapse in 2020.

The actor “Bullet Train” recalled that Shepard often spoke at the end of the AA meetings, calling him jokingly “an older statesman” who mixes wisdom with humor.

By thinking about his own education in Oklahoma and Missouri, Pitt noted that he had grown up with men who have always said: “All is well” and kept their buried feelings.

“I thought it was incredible, men sharing their experiences with their weaknesses, their faux pas, their desires, their ailments and a lot of humor with that,” he noted.

Pitt previously spoke with the turn that led him to join the anonymous alcoholics, revealing that he had “taken things as far as” he could before deciding to revoke his own “consumption privileges”.

In a 2019 interview with The New York TimesPitt described AA as a place of healing and reflection.

“It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of you,” he said. “He was actually really released just to expose the ugly sides of yourself.”

Pitt also admitted that alcohol was not his only escape. After his rapid ascent to glory in the 1990s, he turned to marijuana to cope.

“All this attention really launched me,” he admitted. “I really became a little hermit a little and I just fed in oblivion.”

In 2020, Pitt publicly recognized Bradley Cooper for playing a key role in his sobriety trip.

While accepting the price of the best support actor of Cooper to the Gala of the National Revision Council, Pitt took a moment to express his gratitude, sharing this actor of “L’Aue de Bois” helped him “become sober” and “every day has been happier since”.
