Mariah the Scientist celebrated her 28th birthday on Tuesday October 27. It’s unclear how she celebrated the event, but throughout her day, she reposted sweet birthday wishes from her loved ones on her Instagram Story. A video shows her and her friends flexing their icy wrists! Two messages she didn’t repost? Young thug. The rapper shared a blurry photo with his ex-girlfriend on his Instagram Story, writing “Bday girl” with several emojis. Young Thug also took to his IG timeline with a side photo of Mariah. His caption read: “Happy birthday baby mama, I love you.”
What happened between Young Thug and Mariah the scientist?
As mentioned, it’s only been a few weeks since Thugger announced online that he and the “Burning Blue” singer had split. In late September, he joined Adin Ross for a stream and during a segment about dating, he said he “broke up.” Still, Thugger insisted: “But I still have a daughter – she probably doesn’t have a boyfriend, but I have a daughter.” Mariah the Scientist has apparently paid the dust, giving no public response to her comments.
The rift came after a series of leaked jail calls surfaced online in September. Thugger has been heard making shady comments about several artists, from GloRilla to Gunna and Future. In an audio file, Young Thug laughed as he admitted to cheating on Mariah in 2022, shortly before his RICO arrest. Another clip heard him telling another woman that he loves her. Despite two apologies, the only apparent response she gave online was to post some of her own song lyrics from “Rainy Dayz.”
