Ben Stiller had a few words after Pat McAfee called him and star friends in match 4 of the Knicks -Pacers series – and he takes it all light.

The 59 -year -old actor was on the verge of the court during the Eastern Conference final match in Indianapolis on Tuesday, May 27, alongside other New York Knicks Timothée Chalamet and Spike Lee fans. The trio was there to encourage their team, even in the territory of the opposite team.

Pat McAfee, a former Indianapolis Colts player who became ESPN personality, opened the game with a strong and very sharp message. Taking the microphone at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, McAfee excited the crowd of the Indiana while calling celebrities supporting the Knicks.

“Spike Lee is there. Ben Stiller is there. Timothee Chalamet is there,” shouted McAfee while fans were signing. “Let’s send these sons of B —— to New York!”

After the match, which saw the pacers beat the Knicks 130-121 to take a 3-1 advance, Stiller responded online. Reacting to a video of McAfee’s comments, he wrote: “Yes. Weird. We were happy to be there and encourage our team and except that Indy fans were great.” He also added the hopeful hashtag, “# Knicksin7”.

In a follow -up, Stiller shared more reflections on McAfee’s Jab, “it’s ok. He must play – if it’s a real point of view, it seems a little anachronistic or cliché? As if we are” celebrities of the big city “and we should not be there in our hearts? Again, everyone we met was great and incredibly cool.”

Fans sounded to let him know that the hoots were all very fun. A user wrote: “They are all affectionate hoots, I promise you”, to which Stiller replied: “I felt it.”

Despite the loss of the Knicks and the McAfee NSFW message, Stiller clearly indicated that he did not hold a grudge. “No bitterness at all Indy fans were incredible a good victory for you,” he wrote.

The Knicks will now have to win three consecutive games to stay alive in the series and keep their Employe de la NBA in life.
