Below Deck’s Kerry Reveals Kyle’s Whereabouts After Guest Meeting and Investigation
Kyle Stillie‘s claims about a possible connection with a guest on Under the bridge sparked major drama – and an investigation – but where is he now?
Captain Kerry Titheradge took stock by speaking exclusively to Us every week at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Friday, November 14, saying, “I only see so much of what’s going on. I’ve spoken to Kyle since and he’s actually, he’s actually taken a break from drinking right now.”
Kerry, 49, praised Kyle for sticking with this major life change.
“He’s sober now. He’s been [sober] for a year,” the captain added. “We had a really good conversation after the show about how things were going. He’s a good guy.
After Kyle confused viewers about the events of season 12 of Under the bridgeKerry shared her perspective on the situation, adding, “He’s mischievous and he likes to tell stories. Not everything about the guest was true.”
Kyle was introduced in season 11 before returning to work for Kerry in season 12 of Under the bridge. This time around however, Kyle was at the center of drama following a rumor he himself spread about his relationship with a charter guest. Hélène Hoey.
Kyle returned once Kerry was informed, but the damage was already done. The rest of the season left the team and fans wondering what exactly happened between Kyle and Helen. Meanwhile, on screen, Kerry was investigating Kyle but he was cleared.
“Since filming, I’ve changed. I’ve changed things. I’ll never say I’ll stop drinking but I’m conscious of my habits and how I consume alcohol. I’m just a lot more conscious,” Kyle told Us in September about observing his behavior. “I don’t think I’ll ever [had] a problem. I’d hate to be 40 and have someone sit me down and say, “Dude, tuck your neck in.” So it’s just kind of giving me that reference point where I’m not a fucking idiot. So it just gave me that foresight to say, ‘You’ll never get to this place.’
Although he enjoyed his time in yachting, Kyle said he had no plans to continue on this career path. “If I was 21, with fresh eyes and a bushy tail, I would chase him,” he noted. “But I think the nature of the business and so on is: You can’t drink and party, but there’s a lot of that.”
He continued, “I don’t think if I had done Below Deck I would have ever thought I had a problem. It just made me a little more aware of my daily actions and what I do to my body – whether it’s through abuse or thinking about myself – that’s what it gave me. More than my relationships with other people.”
Under the bridgewhich was renewed for season 13, has not yet started filming. By speaking to We At BravoCon, Kerry explained what fans can expect, saying: “We haven’t started filming yet, but we’re getting the cast together for next year. It’s been very exciting. I hope we get Fraser. [Olender] back. He’s my boyfriend and he’s grown so much under my guidance. I really helped him grow and he accepted it. He has adopted positive reinforcement and is using it.
