Bellingham on Target as Bundesliga Secure Recack Win

Jobe Bellingham scored during his first departure for Borussia Dortmund while the men of Niko Kovac came from behind to beat Mamelodi Sundowns and move to a strong position in group F of the Club World Cup.

Bellingham fired at home in injury in time first half to extend Dortmund’s advance at 3-1 after Felix Nmecha’s goals, via a horrible Mamelodi goalkeeper’s goal, Ronwen Williams, and Serhou Guirassy had canceled a wonderful strike by Lucas Ribeiro.

The goals continued to sink into an entertaining match with its own goal from Khuliso Mudau, putting Dortmund further before Iqraam Rayners again reduced the arrears. Lebo Mothiba did it 4-3 late, but Mamelodi could not find an equalizer.

The victory passes Dortmund at the top of the swimming pool with four points before the match this evening between Fluminense and Ulsan, although it is far from routine for the men of Niko Kovac against the opposition of the game.

The burning heat in Cincinnati may have discouraged many inhabitants with only a sparse crowd inside the TQL stadium, but those which were revealed were entitled to a gem of a goal in the 11 minutes of opening.

The South African team, which beat Ulsan in their opening match in the United States, had already got closer to Tashreeq Matthews – Gregor Kobel by shooting his shot – when Ribeiro struck.

Matthews chose the number 10 in the midfield and Ribeiro instantly transformed Niklas Sule before running towards the goal. He passed in front of Waldemar Anton to go clearly and then calmly passed Kobel with his left foot.

Williams Blunder gives Dortmund a life buoy

Dortmund was swaying but received a route in the match five minutes later.

Under pressure, Williams attempted a success from the back but was wrong and the ball fell in Nmecha and he pulled in the empty net at 10 meters.

Williams partially redeemed himself with a brilliant backup at the end to refuse Guirassy in a frantic 20 -minute opening.

Guirassy and Bellingham Turn Game Around

If the equalizer was not frustrating enough for Mamelodi, they were the architects of their own fall for the second in Dortmund.

Teboho Mokoena paved on the ball in his own half and was dispossessed by Pascal Gross, who played Julian Brandt at the bottom left. Brandt hung up a cross to the distant post where Guirassy is the highest to plant a head in the net.

Dortmund had finally obtained a minimum of control and it was not a surprise when they added a third on the half-time.

Brandt was again the designer with his low cross adorned in the air by Williams. Bellingham, signed by Sunderland before the tournament, carefully took the ball on his chest before stealing the house.

Courageous seams continue

Mokoena got closer to a brilliant free kick on which Kobel reached his finger before Mamelodi’s fragile defensive returned to haunt them once again after 59 minutes.

Bellingham, who played a helping hand in two goals but which was also largely anonymous, slipped the ball to Daniel Svensson at the bottom of the left and its low cross intended for the strike of Guirassy Mudau and entered.

Mamelodi refused to abandon and marked his three seconds three minutes later. Mokoena’s free kick was heading for the post by Rayners and the attacker was the fastest to react to the rebound by nodding his head in front of Kobel.

Dortmund came nearly a fifth with Williams who spares well to prevent Ramy Bensebaini’s head before Mothiba set up a platform.

Kutlwano Lethlaku played in the substitute and he finished in an expert manner.

Mamelodi pushed a leveler in the six minutes of stopping time, but never really tested Kobel while Dortmund was holding.
