BCCI coach declares Rohit Sharma a guaranteed choice for 2027 World Cup

Former India World Cup-winning batter and selector Kris Srikkanth has spoken out on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s chances for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027, after the two veterans put up a remarkable performance against Australia in Sydney.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have put all doubts over their possible ICC World Cup 2027 snobbery to rest as they made themselves a definite pick for the World Cup with their incredible performances in the comeback series against Australia.

“Rohit Sharma is a certainty in the 2027 World Cup. We can’t play without him and Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma has lost 11 kg and looks super fit. It was the old Rohit Sharma, with the touch game. He was batting with such ease and playing the ball so late,” Srikkanth said on his YouTube channel.

“So don’t try to intimidate them and leave them alone. On the contrary, it should be the opposite: they should tell them how important both are and ask them to take care of themselves for the 2027 World Cup.
