Bayley reacts after Kris Statlander stunned the world and defeated Mercedes Mone at AEW Full Gear 2025

After Full Gear last night, Bayley posted a photo of herself and Kris Statlander on social media. This follows her successful title defense against Mercedes Moné.
Statlander became the new AEW Women’s World Champion at All Out in September. At the next two pay-per-view events, she defended her title against two of the most dominant women on the roster: Toni Storm and CEO. She ended up defying all odds, beating them both cleanly.
Bayley posted a photo of her and Kris Statlander on her recent Instagram Stories. It seems this was his way of congratulating her after she pinned Mercedes Moné at Full Gear. It was a recent time when they bonded in real life.

Kris Statlander paid tribute to Bayley at Full Gear
The third installment of this match between Kris Statlander and Mercedes Moné stole the show last night. In addition, living up to expectations following the feedback from their first two meetings, the result also satisfied more than one.
At one point during the competition, Stat paid tribute to both the model and the CEO. She hit a Belly-to-Bayley on Mercedes before transitioning into the Statement Maker, using her opponent’s own submission against her.
It didn’t get him the victory, but it was a great tribute to the two multiple world champions. In the end, Kris Statlander managed to take the victory after landing his Staturday Night Fever finisher on Mercedes Moné.
It was an interesting result as she finally beat Mercedes for the first time in her career. It will be interesting to see what happens to the CEO since she has missed out on the world title twice now. This could cause her frustrations to eventually boil over and her composure to waver, as she has won every title she can win except the biggest.
