Saudi Arabia becomes the best buyer of Russian fuel oil in the middle of the summer request

Saudi Arabia in June was the best buyer of Russian maritime fuel oil while summer temperatures increased and energy consumption has soaked, according to data collected by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

Riyadh frequently turned to Russia when he has to complete the internal demand for petroleum base needs, and continued to import more Moscow than Washington, although this partnership could change if President Donald Trump at 100% of prices comes into force in September if the Russian President Vladimir Putin does not enter into a peace agreement with Ukraine.
The other main importers of Russian oil last month were Senegal in West Africa, in Singapore in Southeast Asia and China, which has remained a higher importer of Russian oil since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

But the war in Ukraine is not the only international conflict affecting Russian oil exports after the European Union published an embargo in 2023.
The Houthi attacks by the terrorist group supported by Iran in the Red Sea have caused changes in the expedition since 2023 by forcing freight navigation to divert Africa rather than going through the great merchant in the middle of the increased risk.
Although the impacts of the Houthi attack on Russian oil exports have largely affected shipping costs and delivery delays rather than export volumes.
