Chennai:Ravi Shastri, during his days as a coach of the Indian team, appreciated playing with two wrist turners in the XI. Now, while the Surya Kumar Yadav team, India is preparing for the Asian Cup in the head of the T20 World Cup next year, the former versatile India considers that it will be an excellent option for having Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav in the XI. During an exclusive conversation with you, Shastri, who will comment on the Asian Cup, spoke of the likely combination of India, the captain of Surya, and much more. Extracts:How do you see Sky as a T20 captain? India enters this Asian Cup almost with an obligation to win. Is this an additional pressure on him?Not really. When you enter with such a strong side, you feel good as a captain. Everything you mean to your guys is not being too confident. Continue with the way you play cricket T20. Surya has been leading for some time now and he has done an excellent job.Do the two Factor X quisters of India, Jasprit Bumrah and Varun, give them a breathtaking look?I will only do anyone for the T20 one day given; Quicks can be disassembled. That said, Bumrah is very special and the best going around the formats. But don’t forget, there are other teams that play very well. How much will you be tempted to play both Kuldeep and Varun?If you have two wrist tractors of this quality, I would like to have them by my side. I think Kuldeep is at its peak now. But it will be a vital cog in the wheel of the Asian Cup and in the future with Varun and Axar Patel.

Due to the IPL “sub-sous”, Indian players are used to playing with the luxury of eight strikers. Now that Jadeja will have retired from T20, India may have to play seven strikers to add bowling depth. Will this cause insecurity?No way. You have versatile like Axar and Hhelik, who start to come from 5-6, even before 7 perhaps. Then you have someone like Shivam Dube, so I don’t think they should worry about “Sub Impact” and all that.What is your opinion on Shubman Gill the T20 player?Gill has all the photos of the book. He obtains the big scores. See his IPL record in recent years. And especially after a tour in England, it will be at a top. But, in Dubai, the land could be slower and even the best shots manufacturers will have to adapt. That said, Gill will be a force pillar for Indian teams through the formats for the next 10 years.You have followed Indian cricket for a long time. Is it probably the most intrepid T20 group you have watched?I think yes. With the amount of IPL cricket played, the confidence and the manufacturing capacity of certain players are incredible. They are young, they have the exuberance of young people, and if they get good conditions, these guys can be real artists. They are clearly the team to beat.
