Asia Cup 2025- BCCI denies authorization; sealed place

The participation of the India team in the Asian 2025 Cup is still uncertain despite the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) denying rumors of withdrawal. However, India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group for the next ICC women’s world cup, which also gives hope to the Asian Cup.

A promotional poster of the Asian Cup has recently become viral on social networks, attracting attention for having presented only two teams, India and Sri Lanka. The absence of Pakistan from the poster has sparked speculation about their potential exclusion from the event, which should be organized by the BCCI.

Given the current political tensions between India and Pakistan, many have found the omission possible with the tense relations between the two nations.
