Ashton Kutcher has no love lost for his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
“Demi’s performance in The substance, obviously, I received extraordinary accolades. I’m so proud of her,” Kutcher, 47, said. Entertainment tonight in an interview on Wednesday January 14. “[She] I killed him.

Kutcher’s new show, FX’s Beauty, also delves into the world of cosmetic procedures. In the most recent Ryan Murphy A brainchild, Kutcher plays a tech billionaire whose company made a miracle drug that had mysterious and deadly consequences.
“I think the broader context is that we are in a society where cosmetic enhancement is becoming more and more prevalent and accepted,” he said, comparing Beauty has The bottom. “It’s a strange thing. Over the last couple of decades you’ve just watched this increase. It used to be that braces were the only cosmetic enhancement, otherwise you’d be judged for it. Gradually there’s a social acceptance of, ‘Hey, this makes this person happy and that’s what matters more than any cosmetic outcome.’
He continued: “I think Ryan really wanted to explore the fact that beauty is very different for each of these characters. When they go through a transformation, it might be a completely abnormal thing for someone, but for that person, that’s the outcome.”
Kutcher, however, noted that some of the findings carry “unintended consequences.”
“I think that’s the other piece of the puzzle,” he admitted. “It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like. I started modeling when I was 19 and I was hanging out with what I considered the most beautiful people in the world and what I realized very quickly was that everyone had an insecurity. If you look in the mirror long enough you’ll find something you don’t like or that you think could be better or different.”
Beauty is Kutcher’s first acting role since 2023 Your place or mine.
“Honestly, I wasn’t looking for anything to do. I was like, ‘I’m busy, I run an investment company, I have my kids,'” Kutcher said.
