Ashlee Simpson’s ex-boyfriend Ryan Cabrera recently got candid and talked about their relationship.
For those who don’t know, the 41-year-old American singer, songwriter, actress and television personality, real name Ashley Nicolle Ross-Næss, dated Cabrera in 2004 but split in 2005.
Their love story provided a major storyline for the MTV shows. The Ashlee Simpson Show and she also appeared in his music video titled On the way down.
By discussing with PEOPLE magazine, the 43-year-old American musician reflected on his relationship with the 7th heaven actress and how they maintain positive terms despite being former partners.
Cabrera said: “We are definitely friendly. My wife [Alexa Bliss] loves him.
THE In your mind The crooner then shared that he and Ashlee’s husband, Evan Ross, have been friends for “a long time” and that he still has a great relationship with her mother, Tina Ann Simspon.
He noted, “I always stop by his mother at the showroom and they have gifts for Hendrix, our daughter. Everyone is rooting for each other.”
“We have such a great history and no one has anything bad to say about each other because we’re all happy that everyone is happy. Everyone has a beautiful family now. We’ve all grown up and seen everyone flourish, and we love it,” the father of one explained.
“It’s a very fun, happy, healthy environment. And it’s exciting to see someone from his background and support him and see him succeed,” Ryan Cabrera said.
